Love, love, love this place!! Especially in the off-season when its usually very quiet. Katheryn is a jewel. The river is pure therapy. The condos are nice. We've been coming for years!!
Our stay at the Rio Hondo during the Holiday Season turned out to be a highly enjoyable one. The location lived up to the billing as we could walk across the parking lot to put our kids into ski school as well as buy our lift tickets. We made our way to the main lift (#1 at the base) by the ski school lifts or the parking lot shuttle. The condo fit our family of five quite well. Master bedroom was well furnished. Really enjoyed hanging out in the great room of the condo--allowed for lots of family time. Hot tub and sauna were also a great relaxation spot at the end of the day.
Location is great! Very close to the ski village, yet far enough away to avoid the noise. Nearby Rio Hondo river provides a nice natural "soundtrack" to the stay. Catherine, the manager, is an awesome lady to work with. Condos are well cared for and maintenance requests (if needed) are handled in a very timely manner. If this place wasn't truly great, my family and I would not come back every year for the last 8 years!

Great property, so convenient, especially with kids, great hot tub. Wonderful management. Rooms are comfortable with great amenities!
Great two bedroom two bath condo in the ground level within and easy walk of the slopes at the children's center at Taos ski valley. The property manager is totally awesome. Extremely nice and very accommodating.
